Routine aims to solve problems, such as many alternative features being behind expensive paywalls or not being able to be used at all. For example, a Malwarebytes subscription can cost between $59.99 and $139.99 per year. Our products are very similar to alternatives on the market, such as a calendar, VPN, mail service, and drive storage. We offer these services at reasonable prices, and without the unnecessary bloatware that comes with alternatives such as Microsoft Outlook or similar.
Market
The primary target market for Routine’s calendar is people between the ages of 22 and 45, remote and hybrid workers. This age group expanded dramatically following the COVID-19 Pandemic. With approximately 60% of jobs shifting to remote work during that period, millions of professionals were forced to adopt digital productivity tools without adequate preparation or training. This created a lasting behavioral shift: surveys conducted post-pandemic consistently show that roughly 25–30% of the U.S. workforce now works remotely on a full-time basis, with another 20–25% in hybrid arrangements, representing a serviceable addressable market of over 50 million workers in the United States alone. Strategy
Our marketing strategy will largely revolve around being able to penetrate the market. Branding will be very important, and we believe that it would be wise to stick to minimalism. Our products will have a very large minimalist theme, and in order to stick with the theme of our products, our branding will also continue with the minimalist theme. Our pricing will also be very competitive; it will be a fair bit cheaper, as we do believe that other companies are overcharging for a very basic service that everyone should have access to.
